Recognizing the beauty and dignity of each and every individual person, China Little Flower works to build a culture of life by reaching out to those who are rejected, abandoned, deemed as useless, and who have no voice.
Whether by direct care, support, or education, we seek to show the value of each human life and build a culture that respects, protects, loves and serves life!
Our projects include:
1.Hospice care for orphans
2.Group educational foster care
3.Special Care for infants
4.Long-term care for severely disabled children
5.Special causes
Hospice:
In our hospice program we provide comfort, love, and care to orphaned children who are dying. Although it is difficult to watch little ones suffer and die, we consider it a privilege to be able to care for these children and to fill their short lives with love and happiness.
Group Educational Foster Homes:
These homes allow physically disabled school age orphans to live in a supportive family environment while attending school and acquiring life skills that will allow them to one day live independently. We accept children with a wide range of physical disabilities including spina bifida, cerebral palsy, limb deformities, speech difficulties, deafness and visual impairment.
Special Care for Infants:
Our infant homes provide intensive care to babies who are abandoned with complex medical needs. We focus on caring for babies born prematurely, those with club feet, and babies with birth defects or illness requiring skilled nursing care. These babies stay with us until they are strong enough to join families of their own.
Long Term Care:
In this program we care for older disabled orphans with severe mental and physical impairment. These are children who have no hope of ever being adopted or living independently as adults. This work is not for the faint-hearted and the rewards are subtle–but in some ways that is what makes this work the most profoundly human. These kids teach us so much about love!
Family Support/Abandonment Prevention:
Our Family Support tream works with children from disadvantaged families (targeting rural areas) who need medical care. In addition to providing specialized care, we also focus on educating families and advocating for them as they seek the best medical treatment for their child. These families benefit from financial, emotional and medical support in caring for their child during treatment, as well as ongoing support after they return home. The ultimate aim is to reduce abandonment through the provision of these services.
Special Causes:
We are often approached for help in special situations. These are orphans, children at high risk for abandonment or impoverished families with a particular financial need. Special causes include requests for life saving surgery, school tuitions, and foster care for children with pending adoptions etc. These kinds of needs–and many others–cross our path often.”

Once again, thank you so much for supporting our work. If you are ever in the Beijing area please do stop in!
The Children’s Rosary is a lay prayer movement for children. It is an effort to begin in parishes Rosary prayer groups composed of children and led by children. The target age of the children for these prayer groups is between 4 and 14 years old. The children of Fatima and Bernadette of Lourdes were all within this age range. However, there is flexibility at each end of the range and children should never be turned away if they have a desire to be part of a prayer group. Of special note are children with disabilities who may be older in age but have a special place in the Children’s Rosary. These children should be encouraged to be a part of this prayer movement. Adults are always welcome and encouraged to come to the Children’s Rosary. These individuals are the special “guardian angels” of this movement.
Through prayer of the Rosary Our Lady will guide our young people while at the same time sanctify families and Parishes.
The Children’s Rosary continues only through the generosity of people like yourself. We try to do a great deal with very little. We would like to share with you how your donation makes a difference.
- A donation of $25.00 helps us share enough materials for a new small Children’s Rosary group to form in the United States.
- A donation of $50.00 helps us send enough materials for a small Children’s Rosary group to begin in a foreign country.
- As requests internationally are usually for large groups, $125.00 allows us to send enough materials for 75 Children to have enough materials to begin a group and each child to have a Rosary.
- Smaller donations of $5-$20.00 allow us to put together a missionary package to hand deliver to a person traveling to a distant area of the world to help begin Children’s Rosary groups.
- Larger donations of $1,000 or more help us meet the demands of materials from missionary outposts where 15-20 new groups are requesting materials.
They also made their materials available free of charge to the Xavier Society for the Blind. They in turn provide the materials free of charge to blind individuals that request them.
Children’s Rosary also sends statues of Our Lady of Fatima to families in remote regions such as Kenya. The families live off of the land living simple lives without modern technology but they have a lively faith and devotion to Our Lady. One of the small children Purity, age 12, asks “Can we get a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary so when we pray we can [be] in front of her?”
Since 1989 there have been built in Mukachevo Eparchy 150 churches and chapels. Another 60 churches are in the process of construction. Besides that they need to built yet 30 more new churches and chapels. At present there are two Greek Catholic parish communities that still celebrate Holy Liturgies under the open sky regardless of the court decision for the Orthodoxies to return their church buildings.
At present they have ready 63 rectories (parish houses). 22 rectories are in the process of construction and another 20 – in the process of reconstruction (altogether 105 rectories). They have to build yet 80 rectories in order to ensure a full value pastoral care in all the parishes, and to ensure that Mukachevo Eparchy needs 190 rectories.
Before 1949 their church counted more than 500 property of real estate (rectories, schools, educative houses…). Since legalization in 1989 they have received back only 60 buildings in which for the moment they celebrate the Liturgies, because in such village the church is left to the Orthodox communities. Some of their old property was given for the property of different institutions, and that will never be returned.
For the moment they have 222 eparchial priests, 25 religious, and 9 emeritus. They need to build the rectories, because the majority of their priests live in private apartments far from their communities.
They search for the resources to keep their 106 seminarians plus 20 seminarians that study abroad; they look also for the new churches, rectories, pastoral centers to can have contacts with the people, for the charity centers. With your generosity, you can help us gain the resources they need.
